I have asked this very question on a number of occasions.

There is hypocrisy and then there is (D) hypocrisy.

Democrats live by these mantras:

Free speech for me but not for thee
Business profits for me but not for thee
War for me but not for thee

The Senate hearings have had a handful of smelly aging hippie Code Pink protestors. Pathetic really.

Sorry.

So, now that Code Pink is protesting The Loser are they OK?

or

Now that we've seen the end results of Bush's failed efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan was Code Pink right to protest?

Neither. Code Pink is always a joke. Bush's efforts in Iraq haven't failed. And the amusing giggle is that Obama claimed that he knew the "right" way to proceed in Afghanistan and has proceeded to largely abandon our efforts there.

None of which has any relevance to Syria - other than the brazen hypocrisy of Obama and his supporters now willing to take the US to war over a thousand or so civilian casualties caused by chemical weapons when Saddam Hussein killed at least four times as many of his own people with chemical weapons and probably a magnitude more Iranians with chemical weapons.

All seriousness this whole thing screams diversion with all the other crap going on in Obamys term. I really dont care about Syria, it is there civil war, both sides are our enemy, stay the F out of it. Amazing seeing how many different thinking groups are saying to "Stay the F out of Syria!" not just hippie war protestors.

Of course not... because the media must stay objective and not biased at all when it comes to potus criticism. :)

+1. This REALLY a case where we don't want to support either side. Assad hates us and Israel, the rebels are 80% al Qaeda, and there's nobody that would benefit us in any way. Help the Israelis secure their borders, and let them keep Lebanon/Hezbollah from interfering, but otherwise stay the hell out until the dust settles. Yeah, people are gonna die, including innocent civilians, but our being there probably won't change that, and it absolutely will put American lives unnecessarily at risk.

Eventually these military actions will bankrupt the nation. Spending too much on other countries, and not taking care of the issues within. Maybe that is the Islamist strategy...some guy with the middle name "Hussein" steers our ship onto the rocks.

The war is been kept mostly low profile by the mainstream media for the past two years, it's obvious they don't want much attention in the war.

I fully agree. There is nothing we can do reguarding Syria that won't come back to bite us in the end.

Low profile? Which news do you watch? It's the only thing on lately.

Lately yeah, but I barely recall hearing about it much during most of 2012.

And just to stir the pot, Kerry used a photo from 2003 to claim Syria use of chemical weapons.

The photographer said he nearly fell off his chair when he saw his photo being used to start something noone wants.

That's funny and probably true! Still sad how many people have gotten drunk on the "Obama Kool-Aid" and refuse to sober up. Talk to his supporters and they just think he's the greatest Mesiah, King, Grand Ruler, know-it-all, can't do wrong, best President ever, kind of guy. Damn fool walks on water to these people. You can also bet these morons will pencil his name in on the ballots next election too.

How is so much failure and stupidity is packed in one body is a medical mystery. That would be an interesting study.
