That right there is why I sold my Colt 6940 and 6920 that had LEO markings on them and will never buy an LEO-marked product of any kind: When the actual authorities can't distinguish an airsoft toy from a "military-grade machine gun", do you think any of them will recall that the AWB ended in '04 making those LEO-markings obsolete?!

Ummm..... The issue is that the airsoft lower is basically identical to an ar-15 lower. Drill a few holes, install a LPK and stock, slap on an upper, and you've built an unserialized AR15.

That, and the fact that A LOT of people out there are painting or exchanging the orange muzzle device so you can't even tell the difference between that and the real deal. A lot of actual mil-spec parts will fit right onto an airsoft gun. Thankfully, we don't hear a lot about people pointing airsoft guns at police and getting gunned down.
