I'm glad the good guy had a gun too. It's pretty amazing that he didn't shoot the bad guy.

The theif was not seriously intent on violence. He had the guy dead to rights and the vet never even looks like he had a hand on the perps firearm. He reached for it and the perp instead of pulling the trigger pulled his hand away.

Agreed. Had the perp been a little more aggressive, even if he didn't shoot first, I think the Vet's reaction would have been different... both were very lucky.

Not I, I got a "Dick's Sporting Goods" one. (And I can't imagine anyone actually watches the whole thing; it was a 7-minute ad!)
