Other than on line, where do you guys shop in state for motorcycling accessories? As near as I can search, there isn't a cycle gear store in state, hard to believe. I see the occasional dealership with huge mark ups, but having trouble finding a place to try on gear or even buy a set of grips.
personally only interested in street stuff. Seems dirt or Harly stuff is all that can be found....
I shop at performance cycle off broadway and evans. They have alot of gear. Nice folks too.

I'll throw out a second vote for Performance Cycle.

3rd for performance. Good inventory, decent prices, excellent service. Totally worth the drive.

There was a gear shop in the Denver area, but it closed a few months ago.

Colorado Eurosport is up near you, they're a BMW/Ducati/Triumph dealer with pretty good clothing/helmet selection.
Theres Let It Ride and also 303 Cycle as well.
4TH for performance cycle. When ever i need tires they are cheaper then online prices before shipping.
I don't keep a lot of stuff on hand, but I can get almost anything, and I try to keep the prices reasonable.

small place off 34 & madison north side of road behind the gas station. He's been in business for 10 years, easy. Name escapes me at this time

Service and parts from TFOG in Golden or parts only from 303 Cycle in Englewood
Second the 303 cycle. Nice shop down there.
5th positive on Performance, plus it's an old roller skating rink!
+one for Performance. I think there's a place up north somewhere too.
Performance is a great shop. Very nice people. They shipped a helmet to my house for no extra charge since they didn't have the size I needed in the color I wanted.

His prices are great, his work is second to none, and his customer service is excellent.
No one else will touch my bike.

You might try Beemers and More. They're in Fort Collins near American Furniture Warehouse--Hwy 14 and I-25.

They've got an OK selection of nice helmets and gear. Prices aren't much different than mail order.

Performance Cycle has a solid inventory and wide range of products for all types of riders.
I personally go there and try stuff on, then I go to Jim (aka TFOGGER on this wonderful board) at TFOG WheelSports in Golden
and order though him. May take a few days to a week longer, but I'd rather give him all the business I can then some bigger company
that may or may not remember my name next time I go in for stuff.
Jim is a great guy and one tough SOB [M2]

have you checked
let it ride in Lakewood? they're on W.Colfax right by Avalanche HD. I was in once a few years ago. And there are a few gun stores in the area, so you could make a field trip out of it

I remember when they use to have a service dept AND race. Nice folks. A few of their wrenches were clients of mine.

Performance or Colorado Powersports on 104th. I'll probably go to Performance to replace my gear that was damaged in a crash 2 weeks ago. I should probably look for a new bike too!

Ok good news. Now I've just got to remember to swing by while I'm working, I mean on the weekends.

Been to Coyote Motorsports at I25 and 58th for a helmet, and they weren't bad. RPM and G-Force, both right near Colfax/Wadsworth were also pretty good. And RPM even had a replacement puck for a Vortex slider when when I needed it, which isn't something I'd have expected from a store.
That was before I knew about TFOG, though. Next time I'm going to him.

MotoGear outlet in Lakewood was awesome and I really wish they didn't close. Great people.
I order my gear online mostly but will also use Gforce in Lakewood. Good group of people down there with awesome prices. I have purchased a bunch of stuff from performance in the past but will not purchase from there again after being told I am handicapped by one of their employes. (I use a cane to walk and have handicapped places on my vehicles so I guess he is sort of right.) Still screamed of ignorance and was extremely rude.
I look forward to trying Tfoggers place now though!

Performance.
I have been to most of the places listed here and they are all similar. Really right now there should be a ton of sales all over as the season is winding up. I would just bounce around watching for clearance items and check them all. I got an alpinestar summer jacket for $50 last month and a Scorpion 1100 helmet for $140. Scorpion is not being imported anymore due to a dispute with tucker rocky which was really the only importer. But for the most part they are good helmets and you can still find a few at blowout prices.
