Oink oink. In the spirit of the Boston Tea Party and opposition to government taxes and spending, anyone in the Denver area tomorrow afternoon should drop by the Capitol around 12:15 for a rally against Obama's Porkulus bill. Yes, there will be pork. Some have billed it as a $30,000 a plate pork roast... your share of Obama's "Stimulus" package.

The more people, the better! Show the Feds that not everyone is on board with the change Lord Obama is bringing.

Just wondering why they are doing this at the Capitol, when he will sign the bill, at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science? (or so it has been reported)
He is not going to see a thing.

Exactly. Us commoners won't be allowed anywhere near the museum - it's a VIP, invite-only party for the royalty... two Americas, you know.

This is great my friend Allyson went down there and got threatened and stuff thrown at her by the "enlightened" supporters of Obama. Even got a section in a Rocky Blog at http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2009/feb/17/obama-arrives-denver-today-sign-historic-787-stimu/

"
1:30 p.m.
Allyson Kulinski is standing outside the Denver Museum of Nature and Science with a couple other protesters.
"Stimulus package=Obama Spendarama," one sign says.
"President Obama Stop Mortgaging our future away," another says.
Kulinski, of Thornton, is holding a huge replica of a check, signed by herself and made out to the United States Government for $30,000. In the memo line, the check says it's for "Obama's stimulus."
"This is the average American family's debt, what they're going to owe," Kulinski said. "I just have a hard time with that."
Kulinski, a high school English teacher, who joined a protest rally at the Capitol before heading to the museum, said it's not that she's against stimulus. In fact, she hopes President Obama does well. If the president does well, the country also does well, she said.
But, she said, "I know economics. I'm a teacher. I don't see it falling out the way everybody hopes."

Glad there was a lot of people down there showing they aren't for this.

I certainly am not.[Rant1]

I think much of America is not for this thing. Too bad it's official. Now we just wait for the fall out - like watching the stock market continue to fall. So much for my 401K.
