So I have been doing my research on mk318 as a potential replacement for my stock of ss109/m855. I have read through the white papers and the sales pitch by the USMC and SOC. I have also read a number of reviews and comparisons from people in the civilian sector that has had some differing results from the "As Advertised" expectations.

What I really don't know is if it is worth it to start making this transition. Has anyone had any experience with this round that they would like to share. I see varied results and that bothers me. The m855 and the mk262 I have performs exactly as expected and is beautifully consistent. So, you can understand my concern when the results seem to be pardon the pun hit or miss.

Charlie I have yet to see anything on them that screams 'need', while the 855 is rather more proven. Not to mention I have not seen the amounts of it out for the public that make it cost effective.

But if you'd like to get rid of your stash quickly... We can shoot it all 😁
