...damn you for spoilers....
BUT, I think that LMG is a BAR. Look at where his thumb is behind the rear sight...gripped like a Monte Carlo stock, not a pistol grip.

With static targets and shooting first, fairly amazed the baddies didn't ventilate Hank and Co. Heck, it looks like the only casualty was Walt's glasses!

All the buckshot coming from the auto shotgun would have wasted Hank and Gomez alone. I suspect Hank will be dead next week but missing to his wife and job. The call to his wife and not the office was pretty telling

This would make braking bad. On the show however, even my wife said those guys can't shoot for shit. I thought the same thing that Hank was saying "see you later" (much, much later) as he was going down. But then again, maybe they wanted us to think that.
Lol that guy got his money outta those rotors

The scene was tense leading up to the gunfight but honestly should have been over in seconds. Instead they dragged it out a couple minutes and it's going to continue into the next episode. What?!
The way it's going I bet everyone will just run out of ammo since they apparently can't hit shit. Mags empty quickly in full auto...

It stopped watching The Walking Dead because of bullshit scenes like this. Breaking Bad has carried a level of believable realism for the most part up until now. I hope this was just a fluke.
Hey, HOLLYWOOD... Study the HOLLYWOOD SHOOTOUT until you know what cover is. Then go back to your writing.

That makes two of us. The Walking Dead was interesting and watchable to me for the first season, then part way into the next one I just couldn't get into the series anymore.

'Breaking Bad' spinoff 'Better Call Saul' is a go
The “Breaking Bad” spinoff “Better Call Saul” is a go. AMC and Sony, the producers of “Breaking Bad,” announced a prequel Wednesday starring Bob Odenkirk as New Mexico’s sleaziest lawyer.
The fact that the show will be a prequel opens up a lot of possibilities: It could leave room, for example, to tell us how Saul Goodman first met Gustavo Fring. Giancarlo Esposito, who played Fring on the show, has told TheWrap he would be open to the idea of dropping in on a prequel. (He now stars on NBC’s “Revolution.”)
“Better Call Saul” is the working title, but come on: How can they do better? The series will find Odenkirk, co-creator of HBO’s groundbreaking “Mr. Show,” doing shady dealings before Walter White ever put a dollar in his pocket.
“AMC and Sony Pictures Television confirmed today that they have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff of Vince Gilligan’s landmark AMC/SPT series "Breaking Bad,” they said in a statement. “As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title ‘Better Call Saul.’ Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.”
“Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan has said in the past that he plans to be involved in the spinoff at first, and then hand off to “Breaking Bad” writer Peter Gould, who created Saul.
Gilligan previously told TheWrap he and Gould weren’t sure if the prequel would be a half-hour comedy with dramatic elements or an hourlong drama with comedic ones. Apparently they’ve landed on the latter.
Making the show a prequel also serves another purpose: It doesn’t reveal whether Goodman survives “Breaking Bad.”
The news comes as thrilling news to “Breaking Bad” fans as the show begins its final three episodes: They won’t have to leave Albuquerque after all.
Of course, Saul’s story may not begin in New Mexico. Odenkirk said in a Television Critics Association panel over the summer that he believes Saul is from Illinois, just as he is.

Walking dead you're ok with but when they mess up gun battles you can no longer suspend your disbelief...

They were going for suspense and drama with the gun fight, but I think they should have cut away when the "bad guys" opened fire.
This would make braking bad.

I had a moment like that myself watching the second matrix when those albino guys chased down the superbikes in the Cadillac Avalanche thing, and I thought "No way...." And then I laughed at that same phenomena.

I was hoping Jesse would get the money that the Nazis stole but I thing he was just glad to be truly free of everyone! I did read a review of the show that called the M60 an AK-47, which slightly irritated me, but other than that Im sad the show is over. One less reason to keep DirecTV.

What exactly is the attraction in this show? We used to make TV series about people that we WANTED society to emulate: Chuck Connors as The Rifleman; Ben, Hoss, Adam, and Little Joe Cartwright, etc. Hell, even in 1978, Adama was wise and had a spine while Apollo was courageous and intelligent (even if he had a little too much of a pole up his posterior) and Starbuck was a skilled, courageous, battle-smart warrior (even if a bit of a womanizer at the start) while in 2012, Apollo was a whiny little prick and Adama was a spineless vacillating wimp. I just don't understand all the love these days for series about mobsters, drug dealers and sleazy lawyers.

There is nothing glorified on this show. This is a story of a man in a tailspin right into the ground. Like I said above, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I avoided the show thinking it glorified gangsters and drug dealers until I actually checked it out a year ago. I was dead wrong.

+1
I had the same preconception of the series; until I began watching it 2-3 weeks ago. In a brief narrative; I would consider it a new and improved rendition of Scarface, but it goes into far more depth about "crime doesn't pay". No where does the series glamorize the main character; and I believe the writers did an outstanding job of demonizing his greed and narcissism and showing the affects of his actions on others.
Great ending by the way!

That was the best episode of television I've ever seen.
I really wrote off the show after watching the first two seasons but was drawn back in by a couple of friends and am glad that I watched it through the end. There was nothing glamorous about Walt and how his end came to him.
All good things must come to and end right?
Otherwise they simply slide down that slippery slope of mediocrity...
