I will not forget or forgive the bastards that did this... God bless our troops, law enforcement, firefighters and all others that keep me and my loved ones safe at night.

8 funerals. 2 immediate family members working there, 1 decided to go out for breakfast, 1 remembers someone pulling on his arm while the tower was coming down to get him out, next thing he knows, he's standing in midtown, with no idea how he got there.
My brother was out that week. Where his desk was there was nothing for 6 floors in one of the other buildings. So many friends and family we know work in that area with equally amazing stories.

We Do Not Forget.

Never forget.

Everyone will always remember the exact moment in time when they heard the horrible news.

I always will

Or the conflict within ones self watching the situation develop, so many people in that building, then the second plane hit, the realization that we are now at war, someone is going to pay.

I have never been so Proud of my Country, My President, First we take care of our wounded and our dead, then we take Justice to those who were responsible.

For a short time we were one country divided by nothing.

Never forget those that were killed. Never let rest those that killed them. - Maj. Doug Zembiec

I hope I never forget the way I felt that morning.

Its amazing that many kids in school today weren't even alive when it happened.

I lived on the East Coast when it happened and its strange to see how little people out here are impacted by it versus people living in the North East.

Even knowing what happened and being 12 years ago, watching the news from back then is chilling. http://hotair.com/archives/2013/09/11/twelve-years-ago/ (And seeing what the reporters were saying, such as hearing them think that an explosion was from the first plane, when it was the second which hit. You can see it pretty clearly knowing it happened, but if they hadn't been looking right at their monitors I could see how they missed it.)

I was in my car on my way to school (11th grade then) when I heard the news start talking about it. I, like many I guess, thought they meant a small plane. Then when the next one came, I knew we were under attack. I was glued to my radio till classes started (it was a late-start day), and remember walking through the halls getting upset at the kids who seemed carefree, thinking "We're at war, what are you doing just sitting and gabbing about nothing?" And, of course, all my teachers that day insisted on doing their usual lessons while most other teachers were watching the news on TV with their classes.

I didn't know anyone in the towers, but my grandmother lived in NYC, and my mom was stuck in Albuquerque for a while as the planes had been grounded (she being with her sister after my uncle had recently died in a plane crash himself). I remember how eerie it was in the month or so after, when the only planes overhead were military.

I do this, we have started a picture frame with a name and face of one of the fallen the we get, and then look them up on google...
http://www.911stairclimb.com/911stairclimb/Home.html

here are the 3 guys that we had this year:
LT. GLENN PERRY (http://www.legacy.com/Sept11/Story.aspx?PersonID=105756)
LT. DENNIS MOJICA (http://www.legacy.com/sept11/story.aspx?personid=93558)
CAPT. JOESPH FARRELLY (http://bravestmemorial.net/html/members_individual/farrelly_joseph/silivecom_captjfarrelly.html)

We've been doing the redrocks climb now for our 5th year, and the names are adding up...somber moment to reflect upon the day. My neighbor is the organizer, and listening to the surivors talk really humbles you, and makes me go clean an ar or 3...not mine of coarse, they're johnny's from down the street.

This image takes me right back to that morning. My late wife and I were getting ready to head out for work. NBC broke into the local news early on channel 9. I heard where the first flight had departed and its destination. I knew this wasn't an accident. Large aircraft with large fuel load on a transcontinental flight on a beautifully clear morning. I saw the 2nd plane fly right into the 2nd tower. We were at war.

My wife couldn't handle it and said we just need to go to work. I had a training class at Microsoft's old location in the Tech Center. I saw the first tower collapse on TV during one of our breaks. There wasn't an airliner in sight anywhere.

We still aren't in touch 12 years later with the ideology that declared war on us. We still seem to be in denial.

I am still angry and have strog hatred for those who attacked innocent civilians 12 years ago. I am honored to be an American and to know what our great nation is capable of accomplishing in the face of adversity and disaster.

I will never forget!!!!!!

I know I will never forget.
I will never forget the sounds, the smell and the complete fear of that day.
I also will never forget the Firefighter who was on his knees crying that he lost friends that day.

I was called to duty that day the planes hit by my reserve command to pull security and to help out.
Nothing was more surreal than driving into the city while everybody was leaving en masse.Seemed like I was the only one going in.Reminded me of the scene in independence day when everyone was leaving D.C.
I witnessed a rubble coming down and crushing some of the Firefighters, and there was nothing I could do.
Lost many friends that day..
My prayers continue to go out to all that was lost that day.
No I will never forget.
