It was voter suppression. All the planned busing in of fraudulent voters were suppressed. The thing that Jon Caldera did last week exposing and publicizing how easy it was to bus in voters stopped that cold.

I know my mother would not approve of me taking pleasure in someone's misery, but it kind of makes me happy to see her so upset. Her utter confusion just reinforces to me that she is missing the big picture entirely. She has no idea why she was removed from office... which is why she needed to go.

The word you're looking for is "schadenfreude".

How can she say people couldn't get out to vote? Pueblo had their polling centers open a week longer than El Paso. I think it was more that dems didn't want her in, but most didn't want to actually cast a vote to recall another dem so they stayed home.

She's apparently under the impression that you're not elected to an office to serve the people, and do what they ask you to do, as in REPRESENT them. It appears she believes you're elected to a office to make decisions FOR the people, and force your decisions onto them, for their own good, regardless of how they feel about it. As in, "dear Angela, we elect you to rule us and tell us what to do, please! Since we're not capable of thinking for ourselves."

^^^ Indeed!

It is the belief of most politicians - at every level.
More recalls could hopefully change this arrogant, condescending attitude.

Hmmm, seems to me that it was voter suppression!

We, the voters, suppressed you, the non-Representative! [Coffee]

I think she's saying the pro-gunners are smarter than the anti-gunners because more pro-gunners figured out how to vote.

I guess I'll have to take the position of: "Who am I to argue with an anti-gunner that's saying anti-gunners are too stupid to vote?"

No, no, no...they're "victims". Liberals love to be victims.

She is parroting the Democratic talking points. This is exactly the same thing the DNC chair (Debbie Wasserman-Shultz) was saying yesterday. They have to explain their loss somehow..they can't admit that the Blue Dog Dem's in Pueblo didn't like her and her attitude and voted with the republicans and independents to throw her out. So to placate the uber liberal base they must cry foul..Bet if they really looked closely at the ballots the foul (read fraud) would be on the D side...specially with the Morse election.

Angela, Angela, Angela.....

You have been terminated for failure to perform the duties required of your position, you no longer work for The People of Colorado, not that you ever did. You're fired. Clean out your desk, Security will escort you to the door. Go home.

And don't let the door hit your big ass on the way out.

I'm guessing this has been covered before, but does anyone know when they're officially removed from office?

Couple of weeks, after everything is certified. They can't vote on legislation now.

Should take about 18 days to certify the ballots, then swear in new reps.

The video is even funnier (and much less annoying, since you don't have to listen to her) if you watch it with the sound muted.

Maybe somebody can help me out here: Why weren't mail-in ballots allowed in the recall? Is that how it always is? Or was it just in these two recalls?

Not enough time to allow 3rd party candidates the time to try and get signatures to get on the ballot and then print and mail them with enough time to be returned and counted.

The only thing she has not done is play the race card,...............YET. Oh wait the voter are Hispanic as well as her opposition. OOPS.
Maybe she'll play the WHITE - HISPANIC Card

Every place you see this claim by Giron, be sure to comment that Democrats showed up at the polls at a 3:2 ratio to Republicans. Thousands of Democrats voted for her recall to get the final results.

She did play the race card. She claimed that people did not like a female hispanic in power.

"In power". There's the telling phrase, right there! The job is supposed to be about SERVICE, not POWER! Obviously she thinks differently.

More like the FEMINIST card. FWIW: The SOCO dem party does nto like her. if they did she would have had a clear margin of victory.

Remember, Dems live in their own little fantasy world, and have trouble coping with reality. So she's just a product of her own delusions.

She also was saying that a majority of voters vote by mail. If she was liked that well, people would have gone to a polling station to keep her in.

dirtrulz
09-17-2013, 08:57
None of her argument in any way targeted her supporters. Mail in ballots affected everyone. I think she is having a hard time understanding that it was her own party that voted her out. It never would of happened if her party had stood behind her. Now she understands why everyone thinks being fired sucks. If people dont like having a woman in power than how did she get there in the first place.

As someone who lives in Boulder, I unfortunately have to deal with this daily.
