View Full Version : Need your prayers again...
I just got off the phone with my dad. Apparently my brother who lives in Boston was robbed at knife point and stabbed. They got away with his wallet, cash, CC's, phone, etc.
Xrays shows that none of his vital organs were injured. Please pray for his safety and speedy recovery.
On a side note... My family (including my bother) use to be against me carrying a gun, hopefully this will change their views on law abiding citizens defending themselves. Defend your 2nd amendment right to bear arms!!!
I have not talked to him yet, so details are sketchy. I will call the hospital tomorrow morning in hopes of talking to him.
Our prayers are with him and your family. [Angel3]
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hope he has a fast recovery.
prayers go out to him and the rest of your family! god bless him!

My thoughts and prayers are with your brother, you , and your family. I lived in Boston for 2.5 yrs (came back to Co in 2005) and know how unsafe that place can be. Please let us know how he is doing.
he is back home resting now. Here is what happened.
He was walking back home from the subway, listening to music on his iPhone (mistake #1). When he felt someone strike him on his leg. Then he was grabbed from behind, and just as fast as it started the BG was gone. The only thing missing was his iPhone. The strike was actually a knife stabbing him. He was only a block or so from his house, so he ran home to call 911.
Shortly before PD and EMS arrive he realized that he was also stabbed on his upper torso under his right arm. They took him to the hospital, performed an xray. Xray showed that the knife did not damage any internal organs. They kept him overnight and performed another xray today, still ok. He was dischared today.
My entire family has also questioned why i carried a firearm. While i am sure that having a handgun would not have prevented it, but gun owners and CCW holders seem to have a clear understanding of their surroundings. Thus preventing this from happening.
Thanks everyone for the well wished and prayers.

Glad to hear he's home now recuperating. I hope the next guy the BG robs kills him. Scumbags that will stab someone over a phone has no redeeming quality.
