This is a fifty five minute video.
Traction is beginning to be gained in the marketplace of ideas for the Sovereignty movement. This video presentation by John Harris is given in the UK. Thanks to Dale P. for the video link.
The sovereignty movement has been expanding in fits and starts across the globe for some time. Although its rebirth mostly originated here about 4 decades ago in the Freemen movement, it has been slowly gaining traction abroad as well. Part of the problem with gaining traction has been the movement running ahead of its headlights. Until there is enough people that understand individual sovereignty, those that try to battle the legal system cannot win today. Trying to establish common law juries, drive without license plates, establish allodial land claims, elect alternate governors, officials and delegates, etc, are doomed to failure without broader understanding amongst the population. Too many folks have been trying to assert their lawful rights with no support in the population.
In the same way that the Revolution really didn't ignite in the colonies until the publication of 'Common Sense' by Thomas Paine, the 'lawful rebellion' 2nd Revolution cannot achieve success here without the broader support of the population to understand the need to respect and support sovereign individuals who assert their rights against the legal construct of the state. We will not win in the King's (state) courts anymore today than the colonists did then until those courts feel the pressure of the population. Or, until the numbers are great enough to bypass the King's (state's) courts entirely. Attempts to do so at this point are still largely a waste of time IMHO and divert energy away from building the educational and knowledge base in the population.
I highly recommend listening to this lowly carpenter (John Harris) in Britain giving a lecture to an sizable audience of fellow Britons: http://www.tpuc.org/node/558 He, in fact, reminds me in some ways of Thomas Paine. He's not an intellectual, he's a humble man that knows the truth and has now dedicated his life to exposing and driving it home. Work like this and others going on with G. Edward Griffin at Freedom Force are all beginning to have traction.
Many of the elements of his lecture originated in information developed in the U.S. In fact, the chilling thing is the fact that so many of the "modern democracies" have adopted the same model, the "corporate statutory" model for seperatiing "legal" from "lawful" sovereign existence and thereby successfully confusing the populace as to the understanding of the "legal" person in a pre-formatted "society" vs the Sovereign Individual as precipitated by the Magna Carta and more fully defined in the Declaration. Until one fully considers the true nature of self and that relationship to "government" it is very difficult for the average individual to compreend exactly what is happening in this "society" everday to diminish individual rights and power.
Inasmuch as the government and our public institutions have so managed to completely confuse the meaning of original Federalism ("the United States are....") with the perverted nationalist Federalism ("the United States is...") taught and propagandized everyday, the people of this country are even less literate as to the truth of their individual sovereignty and how to practice it. Until that begins to occur it will be difficult to gachieve more momentum behind this Revolution.
That is the point of my "SPACE: The Next Frontier of Liberty" Program. "SPACE" means:
Sovereignty
Prosperity
Action
Cooperation/Communication
Education
It is a multi-pronged, multi-phased plan to build the necessary platform tools and knowledge base for bringing about just the sort of Revolution (where we basically begin to bypass and "walk-away" from the coercive government models) necessary to drive the current government models to whither and die. It requires a huge readjustment in thinking even for most of those that consider themselves 'conservatives' today, yet are completely immersed in the coercive, destructive freedom and liberty-killing model we have at present.
The average person truly no longer understands the meaning of "unalienable," and the power of that single word. We have so much work.
