Just bought a Military M105 trailer and have the bill of sale. I was wondering is it going to be difficult to get it titled and registered?
Maybe give a shout out to cwripinz, it's what Patrick does.

Paper work off CO motor vehicle web site, so you can title it as home made. Make an appointment with CSP ,take signed docs to dumb, pay out the ass then put new plate on.

They didn't get you a title when you bought it? Not good. It's not gonna be fun nor cheap.
Trailer titles are a pain. I had a clear Colorado title and a bill of sale from the previous owner and still had to jump through hoops, make phone calls, and make multiple trips to the DMV place. Seems a three letter abbreviation for the manufacturer used to be acceptable but they recently changed the rules and now it requires four digits. Turned into a big stink fest because they didn't know what to do. I raised enough hell that they finally just called it a "TRLR" and gave me a title.
Good luck.

Every County is a little different how tough they may make it. call the county Clerk and ask what it takes and cross your fingers! We had a true home made traier that came from a state that didn't require plates (eary 90's), we went to the court house, they made sure it "looked safe" and lights worked, thet gave us a VIN tag and plates and sent us on our way. VIN tag is still sitting safely in the file cabinet!

Best advice given to me on M105 trailer... go to Arizona and get a life time tag. [Flower]

Play dumb, title as homemade, done it a few times without issue.

That's what I suggested. Have done it a few times. Anything other than black or white, DMV, gets cross eyed and cluster fuks it beyond repair.
Or if you have another trailer you can always slap that plate on there...
