Hopefully I can find somebody connected enough on here to help out.
Wife and I are in need of moving down to the city (as close to Broomfield as possible).
Our house managed to avoid the flood, but our roads did not. My drive to broomfield is now 2-3 hours each way, and will be till next year.
The real situation is she is due in a few weeks and I can't be so far away from her, nor her from a hospital.
We need a place till about mid October, she is due on the 18th.
Our ideal situation would be a furnished apartment, efficiency, etc as we have no way to move our stuff.
Any help or contacts would be great as things are filling up fast. I guess I should mention we are still paying our mortgage, so we can't afford the prices I am seeing for short term rentals.... 2-3K a month for unfurnished is out of my price range.
Thanks.
You are more than welcome to use our home and have a room in our house as long as you need. I know its not your own place but its a place that has most everything and you would have your own space.
Let me know if I can help out at all.
If its something you would want to do just shoot me a PM for my contact info.

PM sent. Hell of an offer, seriously. Given the wife's situation, she will be "home" all day most days, and I would like to see if there is anything out there where we can pay our way and have a private place. More details in the PM, and seriously... Thank you.

Cheapest I am finding is about 300, and all filled up. With 12,000 families displaced. and many in my situation, stuff like that went quick.

Damn.... That's what I need... Just sooner. We plan on moving back home when the baby is born.

John, absolutely no worries at all and it would not be an imposition at all but I totally know what you are saying also about having your own place. I understand and respect that 100%. Please just know that you are welcome in our home and it would be no bother, its the least I can to to help out another fellow forum member and his family in a hard time like this.
I will keep my eyes open for a different place also.
Its no bother and you and your wife could make yourselves at home, just know its an option if you decide you need it.
Feel free to hit me up whenever you like and let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
Thanks and god bless and good luck
Contact info sent in PM just in case.

What ever you choose, get receipts. For commuting, food expenses, etc. Then insist the ins co reimburse you. Worse they can say is no.

Don't do this unless the reason you are out of your house is due to a covered loss. Saying no won't be the worst thing, it will be the claim on your CLUE report that could affect your homeowners insurance.
I hope you find some where. If you get really desperate, let us know and I'll ask someone with a 26' trailer. However, there will be no services so Spleify's offer is much better.

The man helped members while he was on vacation, and now offers his home to a displaced Brother from the flooding.
I said "Hail Spleify" in that temporary thread once already.
That is some Outstanding shit, right there. Really cool.

Might have deal lined up at a Bed and Breakfast extremely close to my work and our hospital.
We would stay there during the week, and up at our place on the weekends. If the deal works out it could be just what we need to get us by till baby comes.

Good luck, I hope it works out. Let me know if you need anything.
Thanks for the kind words guys, no different than many others here would do also.
I can offer the same thing as Spleify. your own room or a couple rooms (we can move the workout equipment), or the basement could be yours, already got a bed down there.
plus I have a 2 year old so you can see what you are getting yourself into! lol!
Sounds like you want something more private, but worst case you still have options. we are roughly 30-45 minutes from broomfield depending on the route
