View Full Version : Stupid Question: Getting a DTA

So....

Looks like I might be coming into a sizable chunk of unexpected cash soon, so I'll do the responsible thing, save/invest a hefty chunk, pay off some bills, put new winter tires on the cars, etc.... but if everything goes through I'd have enough left over for one of them neat-o DTA rifles that are oh so sweet.

So, where in the hell does someone go about buying/ordering/getting on a waiting list/acquiring one?? I can't seem to find out readily online, and I don't want to call every dealer I can find to see if/how/when they could get one. Found a couple on gun broker, but they are used, sellers have limited feedback, include optics that I don't need, and I hate gun broker anyways.

Are they just un-obtainium at this point? They are rare enough that I just don't know, so someone ed-ju-mi-cate me.

P.S. My modified R700 308 in an AX chassis would be up for sale afterwards, if anyone is interested keep an eye out.

Thanks,

In stock, regularly? Or Special order? If so, any idea on waiting times?

These guys can probably get you one http://www.eurooptic.com/desert-tactical-arms.aspx
Read the discription/ordering info on the page and it seems like they can probably hook you up right away.

Go see the guys at TriggerTime in Longmont, they are a stocking dealer and great guys. Zak and Paul both own and shoot DTAs.

What you need is a Accuracy International AX in 338 Lapua...

Yeah, would be cool Hoser.

But then I need another S&B and SPUHR too. With the DTA, I can have both calibers without duplicating a premium sighting setup.
