The Haley Strategic Disruptive Environments Chest Rig is pretty damn cool. I'm not sure about 170$ cool though.

Amen. Funny how much a "name" increases the value. I'll admit, I do run the Blue Force Gear SOC-C molle belt w/ suspenders. It ran me $150, but it is by far the most comfortable belt system I've ever worn. It's fully adjustable and tons of molle space.
I like the Maxpedition Chest Rig.

I saw a fairly low profile chest rig a while back. Very functional, sleek and appeared quite effective.
After 3 songs I tipped her 5 bucks...

I like the Maxpedition Chest Rig.
I thought they quit making it.

I've got two hsp d3 chest rigs. they are pretty good but certainly not game changers:

If only Red Jacket would come out with a chest rig.

I did not know that.
Still available at Midway, all 3 colors.

Yep, it's discontinued. I tried adding one to my card and received the following message.
We're sorry, Maxpedition Mini Tactical Chest Rig Nylon Khaki has a status of Discontinued and cannot be added to your cart.
I'd like to find a similarly priced alternative to Maxped's product.
Sold on a chest rig????I really dig the battle belts......much better draw from the side then from the chest
I like a chest rig because I can wear a backpack with it without interference. A battle belt interferes with the backpack waist belt, then the buckles are laying on top of each other and that digs into my abdomen.
These issues can be resolved by using a backpack like my Eberlestock Halftrack which has a heavy Molle waist belt and I can still carry a chest rig.
I have hiked with a chest rig/back pack in the winter when I can cover the chest rig. This setup gets WARM, chest rigs don't breathe. :)
Tactical tailor MAV. I like being able to configure it to my needs. Having someone else design a rig for what they think I need is stupid.

I personally am a fan of the Blue Force gear 10speed chest rig system. It is just as low profile and the elastic system is awesome.
