So I picked up a couple of lbs. of Alliant Reloder 19 at WalMart today, just because they had some and I had some cash. I see it can be used for most large rifle loads, which is what I wanted. .30-06, .303, 7.62x54R.....

Question - anybody use it or familiar with it? Work OK? Anything I should know about it?

I've used it for 270 WSM and it worked great. No issues and seems quite temp stable.

Used it in .223, I had some left over. I believe it's an older powder and do they still make it? Load data was sparse a few years back when I finished off my can of it. Worked good, was a bit hot though.

Wally World had 6-8 fresh, new jugs of it, so I'd say they still make it! It's also listed in both my reloading books, so I can use it. Just wondered if there was any quirks to it.

This is the only one I've ever seen with it, and it's a new thing. Clerk told me they've only received two shipments of powder so far, and it sells quick. They also had some primers, bullets, dies, and a lot of misc. stuff. Very nice to see! Maybe it'll spread to other stores.
