We picked up bulk macaroni and sealed a meals worth into half of a 1 gallon Mylar bag. Would like to put dry cheese powder into the other half for a ready to go meal.
Any reccomendations that don't need milk or butter and isn't already in a #10 can. I'm looking for bulk rather than retail.
My other thought would be do get powered milk, butter and cheese and mix them together so I can just add water, any thoughts?

The bulk I get comes from Winco foods but the closest location is in Utah. It is very cheap in bulk.

When i read the thread title I thought you mean that nabisco canned cheese. It was the only "powered" cheese I could think of

LMAO. Picturing you, imagining "powered" cheese puts a big smile on my face.

Doesn't Augason Farms makes cheese powder in #10 cans? Thought I had seen some at Rapid Fire before.

Not bad. I was paying like $3 per lb in bulk but having to use my own mylar and 02 absorber.

Parker Walmart is so much better than other metro Walmarts. ;)
My wife loves to put that powdered cheese stuff on everything. She opens a box of $.50 kraft, tosses the mac and dumps the cheese on bread or whatever. Would be great to get it in bulk for storing but also pour some of it into a shaker or something. Does Augason taste anything like Kraft? Not sure I want a whole can to experiment with.

Most of the powdered cheese says it is a "Blend" or "Cheddar" To be honest I think it is all the same. I have used my bulk powdered for mac and cheese and could not tell the difference. Just buy a can and find out. If it works then you will save big $$ down the road with the other half.[Flower]
