I can't stand Hollywood these days. Liberal crap shoved down my throat every time I see anything to do with Hollywood. Accept Gays as equals in holy matrimony, Obama is sooo great, Bush is sooo bad, the war is wrong, etc. I wish they would grow a pair and do something for their country that is constructive and not deteriorating or society/countries morals. I didn't think Hollywood was so bad when I was growing up. Seems they have revved up the liberal gears lately.
Yea I watched the Oscars last night. It sucked. My wife won the remote battle. But she had to listen to my heckling and bashing though.....HA.

Had the news on mute in the background while i was working, just noticed they kept showing clooney coming out of the white house over and over again. figured they were having a commie ticklefest or something.
OH and how the media is on the Obama luvfest tonight....making me sick, really pisses me off though, cause law & order didn't come on. I think i mentioned this before, but went a couple years w/o TV, didn't miss it.
Now I'm kinda a news junkie, but even fox news can get on my nerves sometimes. Headlines today, something about how we just spent 800 bil to save us all, but the messiah is gonna pay down the national debt and the recession will be gone by the end of the year! holy shit and he's only been in office for a couple weeks and last week we were in the middle of a catastrophe.
Anyway back to original post, yeah hollywood sucks. it kills me how they are always pushing some cause or another yet never put their own money in. who was it a little while back, did a concert for some charity and then disclosed she got paid for the event. (i think it was Streisand). i also remember seeing an interview with an actress pushing some homeless cause. she said she was homeless too before she hit it big, the interviewer asked if she was volunteering too, she was like "no, i just publicize the cause" as if she is doing everyone a favor.
Same fricken thing for opra, chick has huge money, supports obama and turns out she only donated like $2500 to his campaign, must not believe in him that much, sends all her american money to africa (assuming she wasn't actually using a bunch of different companies to fraudulently donate)
Finally, they seem to always push the gun laws, but i think some have stashes of black rifles, of course the rules don't apply to them.

someone said to me a while back that mickey rourke is gonna win because he had such an amazing performance.
I replied that while I agree that he should win he's not going to, because sean penn played a gay guy and after the prop 8 thing last year he's a shoe in. watch for a gay rights lovefest at the oscars.

Sean Penn epitomizes the hypocricy in hollywood! He has been ranting about gay rights on all platforms available to him, yet he is a known associate of commies that not only supress gay rights but kill them. Not to mention, Penn has previously stated that he was against gay marriage, I think Bill O'reilly called him out on that.

Just remember- the news is now sold to us just like sit-coms are.. .they both have commercials...
they even track their ratings...
journalists are supposed to be impartial, but they have their own agenda- even if it's just to sell you erectile disfunction pills...
Penn won because he had plenty of real life practice....
As for rourke,, I thought Keith Richards was dead , but mickey has him beat.

Fricken hilarious, i could not remember where i knew Rourke from until you just wrote that. I had a buddy who was an aspiring drunk, or huh i mean writer, and would bring this movie over all the time (in fact i even read the book, or several books by the author which the movie was based).

OK, not necessarily hollywood, but when CA Rep. Feinstein held a public "turn in your guns day", she was the first one in line to turn in her handgun. The hilarious part of the whole publicity stunt was that in CA you must list your guns on your CCW, which she had and is public and she had several handguns listed! You can bet her bodyguards had handguns and CCW's too. Hypocrites! I applied for CCW with local PD cheif, he flat out told me face to face he didn't approve them, however had approved 7-10 during his term which were all his buddies. Dirtbag.
