Looks interesting but I'm out of my realm of expertise when it comes to comps and brakes.
Any thoughts from those more experienced?

(for those shooting competition, that would not bump me into the Open division, would it? - Dimensions: L: 2.570”, DIA: .870” so it looks like it's under the 3x1" rule but am I missing something else? Note: don't plan on buying it just due to the video....but looked pretty cool to me!)

Looks a little busy for a .223/ 5.56 brake. Very nice marketing and video though.

Finger on the trigger 22 seconds in... FAIL.
Fit and finish looks OK. Whats MSRP on them?
EDIT: Looks like 125+shipping.

I get very easily distracted by shiny things or boobies....this one did the trick for me though too.

saw that too, went back and looked and I think it was still on the reciever but low enough so they could show off the markings on the selector switch....marketing.
How's the washer/dryer? still need those manuals?

Hahaha me too, when it comes to shiny things and nice racks.
Pressure switch on the washer went out after two loads, no fault of yours obviously just my luck lately :)
Found the part pretty cheap online and its good to go now.
Totally spaced the manuals.. again. Sorry about that. Just toss em, I downloaded the washer manual online when the switch went out.

Why?
Primary function on of a brake on .223 is reduction/elimination of muzzle rise.

But it can also function to help keep a bipod planted in unstable positions. I would be interested in running one on the recoil sled, but am not giving them that kind of coin.
Nice marketing, that is about it. There is no such thing as a "perfect" brake. Load, carrier group, weight, hold, all affect performance. When you watch the portion of the video that shows the receiver, that gun is moving a lot more than the single shots of the muzzle. The only time they show the whole gun, it is already in full-auto and from far away. Their video guy should get a pay raise as he is good in the tricks department. Some of the actual language they use belies how comps actually work, but they will still fool a lot of people.
I have designed and built a lot of comps, and the two best comps on the market have no high pressure port as well as one other key feature. Take a look at the Seekins comp and the Dynamic Resistance comp. Those are the two most neutral comps made and both are well designed with actual understanding of the gas dynamics.
