So heard from the neighbor last night that there have been a bunch of home robberies around my neighborhood - and then this morning at 7:30 there was a high speed chase with Denver PD that went right past my house.
This neighborhood is going to shit!

It's Edgewater, did you expect something different when you moved there?

The Edgewater crime rate is much higher than the Colorado average crime rate and is much higher than the national average crime rate.

-interesting site, some places I lived 20 years ago have apparently gone downhill and some have gentrified a bit.

Its interesting when extrapolating the numbers to the per 100,000 in the data. There are only ~5,500 people in Edgewater - Would crime remain at the same rate if it grew to 100,000 people? (Not taht it could as its only about 20 blocks).

I'm guessing it was the robbery. They caught the guys about a block from my house. I'm so glad I'm moving soon.

That is quite the interesting site. The metro area has been getting hammered with robberies and convenience store burglaries lately. I'm glad Denver finally caught one.

Except in jails and prisons....
then everyone is "innocent" .... or so they claim.
