Yeah, the bikers are lucky this guy wasn't one of us (especially that jackass that got off his bike at the end and smashed the driver's window).

I'm glad he didn't think twice about running those fucks over, but it seems like if he wanted to he could have done some damage. Once you run the first guy over in self defense, you might as well run over all of them that are chasing you.

Exactly, after the first encounter if any of them came up to me I would have just started taking them out one by one.

He had the advantage until they used the other traffic against him. The one biker pulls around in front of the other stopped cars and made a road block out of the other unknowing drivers. I suppose you could keep gunning it back an fourth smashing everything without any regard for those people in the other cars and just see how it goes but by the time they stop him in the end and rip him out I think he was pretty well screwed and might have been able to smash away for a little longer until his car broke down.
Wouldn't you have gunned it back and forth rather than get ripped out of the car? Those motorcyclists would flee like roaches once they realized the guy was trying to kill them.

i've seen these same kinds of guys here in denver
they were northbound - they purposely slowed traffic down in all 3 lanes so they could all get off at alameda - first they raced up the left lane median right next to the wall passing cars, then they were splitting lanes and cutting cars off and hitting their brakes hard so cars were doing a little swerving - a car doesn't stop as quick as a sport bike

I'm already generally pissed off at most shit in this country, and to see this shit...Really Pisses me off.
Deal is....I'd not have driven over them at first.... it all would have ended the first time those fucks pulled that swarming shit, bringing the highway to a stop and approaching my vehicle with intent.

What in the hell makes him think he has any right to defend himself or his family? Obviously he used excessive force since he was in the Assault Range Rover and they were just on little scooters. Just more evidence of the rich snobs showing total disregard for the safety and welfare of under-privleged youth. And he escalated it when he excelerated to ostensibly "get away". Yeah, this guy needs to be put away for a long time where society will be protected from his "Mad Max" sort of ways. /sarcasm

Seriously... I don't think you'd need 15 rounds or more and I don't think you'd run outta ammo (not that I'm advocating not having the extra ammo, mind you). The first little thug probably woulda tapped out after the first two rounds to the chest. My guess is there weren't too many hero wannabes among the rest of them.
I'm not sure how many if you ride or know 'stunter' mentality... They stopped in the middle of the highway to shut it down so they could stunt... Not letting any cars move by sheer number. Apparently the rover didn't feel like being surrounded by those willing to break the law...
They were detaining him through their actions.. Wife and kids in the car... He didn't want to risk one of those fuck yards spilling all over his rover.
One of them literally stopped in front of him already.. He had no escape. So he created his own.
The idiots on bikes make all riders look bad. Thankfully those NY laws prevented him from defending his family with a gun... He made due with what he had.

My biggest fear, especially if the vehicle is stuck in traffic and a decision is made to draw a weapon and open fire, is that some of those twerps also had firearms and return fire into the barrel (the SUV) of fish (wife and kid).
I suppose the best option is to have wife and kid stay in locked vehicle, exit the vehicle and take your targeted self as far away as possible from the SUV w the wife and kid in it.
Mostly I just think that it's NY and there are zero good guys around with a weapon. Fucking shitstain bloomberg.

Cruz was on a bike that cut off Lien’s Range Rover and slowed down in front of him as other bikers circled the vehicle as the horror show initially unfolded in Harlem, police said Alexian Lien and his wife
He was rear-ended by Lien around 1:30 p.m., sparking a half-hour confrontation that forced the driver over to the side of the road, where other bikers slashed the father’s tires and one enraged rider opened the driver’s door and tried to pull him out of the SUV, sources said.
Law enforcement sources said Cruz’ erratic driving sparked the melee.
Cruz was briefly hospitalized and released for minor injuries, including lower back pain, authorities said.
He remained at the scene and is not believed to be among 20 to 30 bikers who followed the family up the West Side Highway onto West 178th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights. That’s where the Range Rover came to a stop because its slashed tires went flat.

Video from a camera on one of the biker’s helmets shows a man with a Guyana sticker on the back of his blue bike watching as another biker smashed Lien’s window with his helmet. It also captured a rider who has a black and white spider’s web pattern on the tail pipe jumping off and pummeling the SUV.
The footage stops before Lien is dragged out of the car, beaten and slashed but cops are looking for those two riders who appeared to be part of the mob that attacked the victim in front of his horrified wife and two-year-old daughter, sources said.
