Man, that's horrible.


I've done this hike at least 3-4 times to go see the frozen waterfall. Crazy to think that in the 60 million years that rock has been there, it gave it up yesterday and crashed down the mountain.

Let's be careful out there people... Geologic time includes right now.

Wow, your right Steve horrible. I know those falls and have taken friends and family there. That one of my favorite areas of the state (Chaffee/San Isabel).

I once had a big pine tree snap off about 40 yards in front of me hiking up St. Peter's Dome. Made an awful racket and scared the hell out of me. I can't imagine seeing the side of a canyon coming your way...
