So since I'm furloughed, I'm now blazing away at Breaking Bad...finally! (yes I know what happens to Walt) But in between episodes, I'll pop into here to catch up.
Got me thinking, what is your preferred method to surf COAR? Sure, I'll be in here when I'm at work (hell...I just said I'm .gov employee...duhh), and on the iPhone or iPad but generally, my preferred is my tv with my mac mini. Mac mini, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, big screen=excellent COAR surfing on furlough days!

Iphone on tapatalk..got so used to it, now I hate a normal browser.

I surf COAR on my phone with Tapatalk while waiting in lines.

I use my tablet ( not an ipad) or my phone (Iphone 4 without the silly apps) Depending on if I have a signal or not

Home desktop - can't justify a laptop or one of them newfangled gizmos.

Whatever I have with me be it my phone or tablet - tapatalk.
I rarely use the desktop or laptop these days

i'd be interested to know (though not so interested to start my own poll) if people log in and hit the "new posts" button, or just simply go to the forums they like at the exclusion of new content in other subforums

Used to default to the TP, before the "Dark Times" hit. Now it's the New Posts option, or the Activty Stream in INFO HUB if I'm on a computer. Latest is default on tapatalk.
All this, primarily from my droid at work.

hahaha I voted "work computer only" but that's just because I almost always have a tab for the forum open in my browser at work. I also get on via my iPad (not through a forum app like tapatalk, just safari) from work, home, waiting rooms, the in-laws house, etc.

I'm on my laptop 75% of the time and then the rest is split on Tapatalk with either my tablet or my phone. I also tend to check my subscribed threads and then jump to new posts.

The poll says "favorite way", young whippersnapper.

My favorite way is on my PC in the home office. That doesn't mean that we're exclusive. I also use a tablet, smartphone with TapaTalk, laptop, PC in the home office remotely, out-of-band virtual machine on my desktop at work, etc.

Since I'm retired it depends on the weather : Nice day-laptop or Kindle on the porch Lousy day-desktop.

Desktop??

I'm with Muddywings. I'm sitting in my Lazy Boy Recliner watching this on my 42 inch TV/Moniter using a wireless remote keybouard and mouse. I'ld need a magnifying glass to see any of the smaller non-desktop screens.

I'm desktop... OP looked like he was too far away from the TV to read anything on the screen... good for him if his eyes can read text that far away with his feet in the way a little bit.

picture is a bit misleading in size of text and such. It's actually pretty easy. If I get a page that is to hard to read, I just zoom in.

Tapatalk works ok, but lately I've been using the native vbulletin mobile theme and have found that it works really, really well.
