Anybody watching it? Had not even heard of it yet. Noticed it flipping channels.

House is busy, to much going on to focus attention to it.

Sent from my electronic ball and chain.

Turned it off after 5 minutes. I only made it that far because the wife and I were having a light discussion about how the new season of TV sucks so much more than the past.

First episode was pretty weak. Probably won't watch.

Going to disagree. It's not bad, slightly humorous. A comic book spin on firefly, if you catch the inside jokes. Unfortunately anything that doesn't require you to text approval, for the dance off, never last long.

Made it a half hour. Weak.

Joint finally quieted down. Not much chance to check it out. Maybe try it next week.

I've watched and enjoyed both episodes enough to keep watching. I'm a big fan of comic book movies, but I could see how Agents of SHIELD could get old after a while.

If one looks at it as anything more than escapist entertainment, they're probably 700 Club subscribers.

Think "men in black" as a TV series.

Decent Joss Whedon show. If you like his other stuff, you'll probably like Agents too. I do.

I've seen the first 2 episodes in their entirety. The 2nd, last night, was chock full of idiocy.

An 8' blow up emergency float to stop a 6' breach in the fuselage of a plane, and it didn't just fold over and get sucked out? I call BS.

Of course 6 shooters never get reloaded. It's TV .........

It could be worse, like a no guns type group of crime fighters, touting the merits of the UN.

I DVR'd bot episodes but haven't yet watched. Big fan of comics since I was a kid and obviously the movie adaptations have been wildly entertaining for me. While I look forward to this TV series my expectations are low as the previews lacked substance so I'm going in not expecting to be impressed. I don't plan to be too let down.

I only paid attention at the point the guy was bragging about the retrofit on his goofy plane (disguised C-141?) The first fight scene I saw after they landed that goofy thing ala Thunderbirds style, was two of them sans guns taking on 5-6 aggressors hiding in the jungle. That and the bad acting is where they lost me.

The guy bragging was SAMUEL JACKSON, BITCH........... SAMUEL JACKSON.

It reminds me of Firefly. Agent Coluson is the dry sense of humor leader, of an eclectic group of folks, ala Mal . Agent Ward, weapons guy = Jane

No, it was "Phil" I saw.

I decided to give it another chance since it is available on Dish Online for viewing.

Perhaps the Firefly reminiscence is subliminal considering who I saw in the first ten minutes of the pilot? Besides the chick from "How I met your mother."

He's keeping me very busy! I'm barely able to keep up with the happenings around here. I'll post up some pictures in the PWT in a few days if I can find the time, or maybe I'll try to find the original thread from when he was born and update it. Thanks for asking! [Beer]

So we sat down to watch the first two episodes and after sitting through the entirety of both of them I promptly deleted this series from our episode list. I wanted to like it and my expectations were low and yet somehow I was still quite disappointed. The plot (if you want to call it that) was incredibly thin, predictable and not much entertainment. The show uses fast talking and fancy camera shots to try to make it seem more suspenseful than it really is and the characters are all corny and difficult to like. I don't know if I wasn't in the right mood or what but this show reminds me NOTHING of the Marvel movies or anything to do with the comic books despite several awkward attempts to remind the viewers of them multiple times by the characters in the show. It just seems like it tries to be intelligent while insulting the viewers intelligence all at the same time. Maybe it will do well with the avg American TV show watcher these days but I just have a real hard time watching most of the shit they attempt to shovel down our throats anymore and this show just seems like more of the same to me with ties to things that I actually find entertaining.

Look forward to it. Will post up new pics of grandson as well.

On topic, watched Spiderman again this evening(it was left in dvd player and better than what was on tv), the cast really fit the production. Kirsten Dunst - [rockon]
