Halloween is my most favorite holiday/fun day, usually set the house up about a week in advance and I love when the neighborhood kids come by and say stuff like, man cool house. That got me thinking and after watching Nightmare on Elm St. What is the best scary movie?

yeah I know I am way early, but man I am pumped for Oct 31 to get here.

We love Halloween here, too. :)

The Ring and Ju-on were both pretty frightening. The American version of Ju-on, The Grudge, was also very well done.

My dog was run over and killed right in front of me two years ago this coming Halloween. The date will never be the same for me. Sorry for the downer.

I saw Poltergeist when I was like 10.. Wouldn't go into my closet at night for many years.

Haha... a baby sitter let (made) me and my cousins watch The Exorcist when we were about that age (I think I was like 8 since I was younger than them) and it scared me only a little bit. I think I largely didn't get what I was seeing and at one point remember throwing her bra and undies into the ceiling fan to watch it shoot the items across the room and break shit that they hit. No idea where she was now that I think about it.

Fast forward and movies don't scare me. Well, that is except for one and you all are going to laugh because it's not even scary. I shit you not I saw this movie at the theater with my girlfriend and was hiding behind her jacket for half of it. I had never been so terrified of a movie in my life and I felt like SUCH a little girl. That movie was The Sixth Sense. I don't know what it was about that damn movie but it was scary as hell for me. I lived in a really shitty apt at the time and the thermostat never worked right. I had a hard time getting to sleep that night and needless to say that after I finally did and woke up hours later needing to pee and the temp in the apt was like 50 deg I was freaking out. Took me like an hour to get the courage up to get out of bed and go to the bathroom. Those that saw the movie probably know what I'm talking about. Later on I couldn't really figure out why I was so scared of that movie and when it came out on DVD I bought it with the intention on watching it again to prove that it wasn't scary and I was in a weird place mentally or something when I saw it. To this day it's still in the shrink wrap and has never been open. lol

There's a house a few doors up from me that is already in full Halloween decor complete with tombs in front lawn and multiple scary creatures dangling from home and tree's. It has been decorated for close to a week already. Me thinks their kids are big fans of Halloween!

I go as a serial killer every year... they look just like everyone else. No need for a costume.
