rumors about import ammo ban

then we will just make our US based ammo companies even stronger. All that money will go to fight off any other bans and we will be stronger as a whole. russia will not get its money from us. We will unfortunately lose some of the nice surplus ammo but if it is the calibers listed, you can still get 7.62x54R, 8mm, 7.62x25 and 5.45x39. You would lose wolf .223 and 7.62x39 ammo, golden bear, brown bear, silver bear etc.
Federal, remington, winchester would all probably take good stakes at those calibers and ramp production. possibly new ammo plants. Our money would be directly infused into the US economy and we would be better off as a gun community.
I would rather just have it left alone however. I just want to see the prices come down...maybe around 2011 we might see this happen.
This is quit possible. My friend has had a shipment of 7.62X39 in Houston held up by Customs for a couple of months now. No reason given.
We are entering the beginnings of a POLICE STATE. Patriots Start getting these ass clown politicians voted out.

Hear hear! This is going to be one of the most oppressive regimes this country has ever seen. I wish I could dig up Jefferson, Reagan and Eisenhower. Hell I'd settle for Nixon...

I agree with Sniper7. It'll hurt for a while but all around better if this did happen. What will I do without clean burning and good shootin wolf!? Oh the horror.
The less influence on a market, higher prices.
