Just thinking out loud here. What do you think the response would be if a business owner were to post a sign that says "HIV/AIDS free zone."

What if it was a family place?

On a serious note. You can't just leave your AIDS at home.

Russia has done this. Entry visas, at least when I went twice around 10 years ago, we had to get aids-tested.

Oh, the insensitivity of a sign like that....the injustice and oppression involved, are off the chart. That kind of crazy minded sickness must be put to a stop, and worthy of a plethora of special anti-aides/HIV discrimination laws and acts for all of us to follow...and pay for.

Serious note taken.

People would just hide it like a carrying concealed in a gun free zone. Guns are to metal detectors as HIV is to ________?

If I owned my own place of business I would post a sign declaring it a democrat free zone.

Just wondering, how would a business do on the spot checking for AIDS/HIV? I mean, those tests don't give instant results do they?

Seems like they could do it. 20 to 40 minutes for results: http://www.fda.gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm310545.htm

-posting the original question exceeded the barrier of decency. Thus, any subsequent post is merely a bonus at this point and allows outsiders perusing this site to form potentially inaccurate opinions about all AR-15 enthusiasts, when the OP's thoughts hopefully only apply to some.

How about convicted criminal free zone? It can actually be done, real easy. First, last, and DOB, and about 6.85 per check, for basic, state wide. I run a check on people applying for work. Very glad I did, wowza was I surprised. I wonder how many people would feel a whole lot different about carrying if criminal convictions had to be worn like a necklace.

Now youll never get that done for retail store, but would that really be inappropriate for a private company holding an event? One with lots of kids, like the fair? Im sure that would be discriminating. Rediculous the more I look at the "gun free" junk.

I'm going to throw the political correctness flag on this.
