As far as Tisas goes, I picked up one the black govt models to try out, based on price (right under $400 shipped and transferred, thanks to Rapid Fire Bunker).
Ships in a hard plastic case, with a cleaning rod, cleaning brush, a cleaning cloth and MecGar 8rd mag, with extended plastic base plate.
Fit was decent, a lot tighter than I expected.
Finish was OK. It looks fine now, but almost looks as if it will eventually peel on the frame, slide is better.
Grips were plain-Jane smooth, oiled walnut, no checkering. I changed the grip panels to some black rubber checkered ones I had laying about, and it is a huge improvement. Maybe some hogue Wrap-arounds in the future.
Standard GI style sights, hammer, grip safety and trigger. Poly mainspring housing.
Trigger was not bad. Maybe a tad heavy, but not stiff or gritty. We'll see how that wears in.

I have only run about 250rds through it, a mix of ball, defense and reloads (lead SWC). I have not had any function or feed issues, as of yet, but it is kind of hard on brass. I think I may have to knock a sharp edge off the extractor, or something. Going to study that in-depth on the next outing.

Accuracy was reasonable, but I was more focused on function during the initial range outing. THe Mecgar mag did it's job with no issues, as well as a couple standard 7 rounders and, of course the Wilson 47D's.

All in all, if it holds up reasonably well, I think it will make a perfectly adequate plinker, at a very agreeable price. I will try to add some pics of the pistol and the dinged brass, as well as continued performance updates.

Good review. For that price it makes for a perfect bug out bag gun.

Will only add at this time: After another couple hundred rounds, still no malfunctions, but, in paying more attention to the trigger, it could use a little smoothing out.
Not horrible, just some slight grittiness and a touch of excess take-up.
Still very pleased with it.
