... who's got'em?

you know what it's worth if you do have'em... and I'm not speaking of the price of this product either. It's definitely not a "Shit you must have", but when you have it or own one or two or more of'em... it's more like "Wow, I really love this thing!".

Then comes the question. What if something like this happens?

.... yea.. Game Over, right? [shithitsfan][pileoshit][facepalm][Mad][Rant1][fail] probably all comes to mind and then some... and thinking the worse "F*ck! I gotta get another one!"
So before I go off selling and saving cash to buy another one of these fantastic bi-pod's I give the fine people at B&T Industries a phone call to see how much will it cost to... and if they would even repair my bi-pod? The answer I got was a heart stopper for me... especially with the thought "Oh f*ck sake.. I'ma need to buy another one.. don't I?"
the super nice lady was like "Yes, we can fix it..." so I ask how much? and she says "FREE!"

OOh my Lord... I couldn't hold my excitement... I told her "I love you!" [LOL]

I was given instructions on some things before shipping it, and like an idiot that I am. I lost it.. so rather than calling back like a dumb ass... I made contact with a Kody on Facebook.... the customer service is top notch even online.

"B&T Industries (https://www.facebook.com/pages/BT-Industries/106542872718487)Mike,
Well I am glad that you like it. With that said we never like to see a product failure.
However we have made some improvements to the bolt that is torn on yours so this should not be a problem for you in the future.
We will keep an eye out for your unit.
Have a nice weekend,
Kody BeltzB&T Ind. LLC"

a week later and I got this baby back [Flower][my precious

Good to know they took care of it, I just bought one at Mile High a couple weeks ago for the rifle that's ALMOST DONE!!! [Flower]

I was really debating if it'd be worth the extra coin over the Harris, but after fondling it a bit in the shop and comparing, I decided to take the plunge on it. $280 for a bipod is a bit tough to swallow, but it makes it a lot easier when you know the product is supported by the mfg after you leave the store.

That's great that they stand behind their work and fixed it for you. Atlas pods are definitely worth every penny in my book as well. I have one under my .50 BMG build and have never had a problem even when fully extended.[Sniper]

That bolt is an easy repair , even an AV fuel guy could have done at home.

Harris is the shit too, no doubt.... they're are built like tanks. Just watch out for them "casted" knock offs... they'll literally fall apart on you.. I know this. I bought a cheapo for my 22 and the rifle took a nose dive [LOL]

I have a cheap ( *cough* NCStar *cough* ) one and it isn't level. One of the legs is 1/2" shorter than the other. Makes it really interesting when trying to get. Though I found a nice work around for it, got a 1/2" zip tie and put it around the leg, so when the legs are retracted, that leg is the same length as the other [LOL]

Harris is on my wish list, Atlas is on my win-the-lottery list.

I've been considering one of these for years, but I wasn't willing to lay out the cash until I had a good reason. I shot one a couple weeks back, and I was forced to admit it was better. That rear sloping angle causes it to skip less, or at least more predictably. It's easier to loader the same reason. I ordered one today.

I am glad I bought an Atlas. I love how you can run the bi pod legs @ a 45, plus they are super slim and just plain sweet looking.

I was looking at the Atlas when I was at Mile High Shooting yesterday, super nice bipods. Good to see they stand behind their product.
