Name something at which you have never succeeded. It can be anything in your whole life. What is something that you've tried to accomplish more than once, and just haven't succeeded at said goal?
I'll start off with something mundane. I have yet to make fire with a bow drill, or any friction method as of yet.

Having a bike with ample torque helps. Also, being at Colorado Altitudes does not help. When traveling at sea level I can wheelie at will and hold it, In CO I have to work for it, and then can't hold them.

On a serious note, I agree with Dave. Playing guitar, or any instrument for that matter. Granted I've never really tried or taken lessons, so I can't attribute my "never succeeding" at it to true failure. I just believe music is something cool that adds beauty and value to life.

Quitting smoking. On day 2 right now of god knows how many attempts. I made it close to 6 months once and a night of boozing with a bunch of people that smoke put an end to that real quick.

Cool to see that there are some members here that have played some guitar, and kinda know what it's about. I've been taking lessons every week for a few years now, and shit just doesn't fall into your hands to sound great. It takes a lot of work and practice just to understand what you're doing in the first place.......let alone learn other peoples stuff down pat.
Maybe I'm being a maverick here, but I'll lay it out........there is a ton of shit that I'd like to be better at, some I've not even tried yet, but some I've tried more than once and still struggle with.
I think the important thing is to, .......keep trying, don't give up on it. Your particular skill set just might not include the ability to achieve certain things without some serious effort, and experiencing some serious failures on the journey.

All you guys trying to quit smoking, Chantix worked for me. I haven't had one cigarette in 3 years now. And I only took it for 1 month. I still crave them every day though, that will never go away.

Black belt in Karate. There were requirements of reading, reports and silly things that were too much like higher education. Just can't do it. Made it to Brown/Red (short of blackbelt) Now physically cannot continue due to pain from brain surgery.
(I can solder, and wire though)
