Our Glorious Leader in all his infinite wisdom has failed to pay the prison guards at the Super Max prison! This should be grounds for impeachment right there! What say you?

Those guys are non-essential, man! Why do they need pay?! There are only some of the most dangerous criminals and terrorists in that facility.

Last I heard the local Army Special Forces are in charge of quelling any kind disturbance at the Fed pen, except when on a dry run, they parachuted into a nearby state prison by mistake!

It says in the article that they were only carrying rubber bullets for training. How hilarious would it have been just to light up all the inmates with rubber bullets then get extracted and no one would have known who they were. This article would have read a lot differently and a lot funnier.

Of course NPR is MUCH more essential than prison guards! $445M during a slimdown, WTF. And in response to BREATHER, the GOP House IS doing its job.

Its a great way to reduce the prison population. Lock all the scum in their cells, turn of the lights and ac and go home. Let them starve to death. Prison overpopulation problem solved.

Just another example of how the people making this mess not being affected by it, but letting middle class people who work for their checks wait for their pay. A lot of the people still working are doing so and getting an IOU to be paid upon the return of the furloughed workers. Mostly because payroll personnel are non essential.
