So, I picked up a Springfield M1A Socom II awhile back. I've got an EoTech made for the .308 round and I'd also like to put a 3x magnifier on it.

Now, the hard part. I'm looking for a good scope mount that will line up with the rails already on the rifle. The EoTech is one of the longer ones, so it won't fit onto the scope mount with the magnifier. Does anyone know of a scope mount that will line up with the pic rails already on the gun? Or of a shop in the Denver/NoCO area that stocks multiple mounts so I could take the rifle in to check them out first?

Sadly I don't have the money to just buy multiple mounts to find the right one.

Smith Enterprise for expensive but good.
Springfield for moderate price and pretty good.
Chinese for cheap and crappy.

Sure.... Low low price of $3995.00. Hell, I'm so nice I'll even toss in some 20 rounder "mag repair kits" as they're calling them now.

I dont mund spending the cash, but I want to make sure the Smith Ent or the Springfield ones'll line up with the rails already on the Socom II.

Agreed. After many years, I decided to put a scope on my M1A. It was in that configuration for about 6 months. Now I'm back to irons. Some of the best iron sights ever made. A National Match front blade makes a big difference too.

By the way - shoot me a PM if you're interested in a lightly used ARMS mount.

Sage makes a small rail section that replaces the stripper clip guide.
