Original guy on the bike looked like the kind of rider I hate, cutting in and out of traffic with no safety margin for the other drivers, but I'd have preferred it if the perp at the end moved less and bled more.

Nah, he was riding like a typical macho a-hole: "I own the road and will be in front of all of you". I don't think he'd have stopped at that intersection if he'd known he was being chased. You could see the surprise when they pulled in front of him and had the gun out. He was all over the place simply because he felt no need to slow down to match the pace of traffic when he could just go around the cars.

I was hesitant to post this, but I think that this is the kind of deterrent that is needed to prevent these types of crimes. If anyone contemplating a crime thought that it would end like this I bet that they would find another way to earn a living. I don't really know what happened, but it looks like a cop that comes in at the end.
