Why am i always broke as a government when things I like become in stock?

Good price, even for pre-panic.

Not a bad price at all -even from KVAR which is marked up anyways.
With the way things are going I think there trying to cash in on everything before more ridiculous laws set in and there stuck with them.

If the day Russian guns cannot be bought I'd kill a baby cobra. Did Russian sign the UN Small Treaty?

Russian ASSAULT STYLE guns have been banned for some time, under the 94 non-sporting clause in the AWB. . If and when they are, they are in non Assault config. They are returned to an assault / non-sporting config here in the states.

I know that, that goes for almost all imported guns that looks assaulting.

Why is it with ARs dropping back to pre panic pricing the AKs are holding if not going up? Honest question I am curious, even at the gun shows you hardly see any AK platform rifles and then at $1K+ pricing for what was a $5-600 rifle last year.

I'm guessing it's because AK production never ramped up to anywhere near AR production levels. ARs are way more popular after all.

Got mine from kvar a few days ago. Shipping was really quick. Comparing my SLR 107FR to my SGL 31-94, the SLR is a higher quality weapon. It has the pistol grip reinforcement plate, chrome-lined muzzle brake and seems to have a better, albeit still spray paint, finish. It also comes with a sling and a cleaning kit that goes in the butt stock. I think this is a better AK103 clone than the SGL-21.

The bulgy slr-107 is a bad ass AK. The saiga sgl series are nice guns but like Mutt said the bulgy slr series is a few steps above.

I had been waiting for these to come back in stock for a really long time, so picked one up right after I got the email that they had 300.

Canted sights are quite often seem on Arsenals, just not so severe as the Century, almost require an engineer's eye to tell. Most of the time the rifle can still be zeroed with canted sight.

Thats not a canted sight, it is one that happens to be adjusted to the left of center. Canted sights would have the gas block tilted off to one side or the other. . Use your ak sight tool and move the drum from L-R, providing the POI isn't dialed in where it is now.
Unless thats the sight picture from the rear sight / alignment.

They actually are canted slightly if you look down from the front of the gun. It's been discussed too many times on AK forums about Arsenal's canted sight.

An AK sight tool will fix that sight post.
My brother had an AK back in the late 90's that had the canted front sight block. I thought it was just a one off mistake.
Hard to zero but fun to shoot.

Canted sights even happen to Soviet factory made gun supplied to their military. Like this one from the 80s. (http://www.avtomats-in-action.com/pro17.html)
