All,
Anyone in/around Colorado Springs this weekend should stop by Sportsmans Warehouse between 10AM - 4PM.
The Pikes Peak Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) will be there selling raffle tickets for a Browning A-bolt .338 Win Mag with a custom thumb-hole stock (and factory stock included) and optics (I don't recall what the make/model of the scope is but I believe that it is 3-9x40 power). I don't have a pic, sorry. (I should be getting a pic tomorrow of a Rem Mod 70 .325 Short Mag with a similar stock and scope setup.)
The tickets are 1/$3, 2/$5, 5/$10, 15/$20.
The tickets are only being sold here in the Pikes Peak region (to anyone..you don't have to live here!) and the drawing will be held on April 11 at the Pikes Peak Chapter's annual RMEF Banquet. The winner will be contacted either that night or the next day.
Come on by. I should be there selling tickets ~ I'll be the 40 something guy.
BTW - All proceeds go to help to preserve habitat for elk and other wildlife.
