So, my bud called Specialty yesterday, they had two that sold right away. I call down there the guy tells me they sold one & the other was on hold, he said if it didn't get picked up by 7pm they were taking it off hold.

So, i called back at 6:55 and he said the guy never came in, I proceeded to put my name on it. Went down during lunch filled the paperwork out then picked it up after work!!! Man the day dragged a$$.

That's a beautiful gun. I lucked out and got one for my b-day. But its been a great shooter for me and I think you will like it too. I have since decked it out with a folding stock, triple rail, flashlight, green laser, broom stick forward grip (that I changed to a hiding bipod one) and red dot sight all from aim. I have so much cool crap on it that I don't think there is room to fit anymore. Its full.

Yeah, I'm on that same waiting list I just happened to totally luck out. I wasn't even going to get one until my friend started looking at them and got me hooked! Feeling bad I told my friend its his if he wanted it, but he said he'll just wait it out and shoot mine instead........

Mind posting a picture of it?

I got this 5 option pack from combatoptics or something like that. IDK for sure but they are straight from aimsports.com and I think it was a reasonable price at $250.

I've had mine for about 6 months now, and it is a hoot to shoot. With ammo as expensive as it is, you can let your buddies, or even strangers at the range rip, thru a mag and it costs you nothing. Awesome to be able to do the HK slap to drop the bolt. Really just at toy, but a real fun one.

My sights seem to move easily, but I got the rail mount to put a red dot on there. Really great gun to let someone play with.

Some day I'll be in the right place at the right time or one of the two waiting lists I'm on will come through!

I said something very similar to this to an employee of BassPro and he told me it's not Obama's fault for high prices on firearms and ammo, it's the Chinese trade market to blame.....I just turned around and had to leave.

That's to bad you left. I would have loved to hear the reasoning behind that one.

I was at Gander Mountain today in Thornton and they had one but, they want $599 for it.

I called GM today to see if they offered more goods for that price, he said no just the norm. I told him I picked mine up for 499.99 but he didn't really say anything after that.
I imagine they'll be sitting on those for a while.......but it is good to see stores starting to get them in.

Picked up a retractable stock today but I'm returning it. FYI for anyone looking to get one DO NOT get the GSG OEM model. The end cap is made of plastic and it wobbles pretty bad in the fully extended mode. Go with the CA A173M, its all metal & no to little wobble.
