Kydex AR Mag Pouch-opinions

I built a AR mag pouch out of Kydex and got a nice compliment from a friend with a, 'dude, you should totally sell those.' To me, I take that as, 'if I kiss his ass, he'll make me one for cheap' ;)
So I'll ask the internet because here, you'll tell me if my shit sticks.
It's built from a PMAG (don't know how well it will fit other manufacturers or USGI)
It's built with a tek lok and has adjustable cant.
It has two tension screws
I'm a righty so this sits on the left side and has bullets to the rear.

I'm getting a 6th toe removed in about a month so I'll be pretty slow and boring for 2-3 months I guess. I'm thinking I might make a few and sell them. I'd have to check with the mods if that would be ok. I'm not looking to be a business, just occupy a month or two sitting on a stool at my work bench. Before I disassemble the mold, I thought I would ask in here, if there would be any interest and what would be fair market value?

What are your material and mfg costs per unit at 1, 10, 100... From there, you can figure in desired margin, and decide if it's something you want to jump into.


I like the idea, and wouldn't mind having a couple myself, just for grins. If the pricing works out.

I'd be interested in a few. How thick is the kydex?

Yeah...I won't be making a hundred! That would kill me with boredom.
Likewise I'm only planning on doing something like this while I'm WIA and that won't be till mid November.
I need to ponder the consumables such as saw blades foam degradation sand paper etc but rough ballpark to make it worth my wild would probably $35-38 for black and $38-42 for colors as long as I can use the entire sheet. Making one in hot pink would leave me a lot of hot pink laying around.
As for the kydex: 0.080
Just pondering still.

BTW, I should have said in my original reply, looks great. Definitely nicer quality than I've seen in even a few commercial kydex products.
