We know our 2nd Amendment would be supported and I like a lot of other thing Uncle Ted has said over the years.

I like him because he's on my side, but Nugent seems like a nut. On the other hand, I have no doubt that he would do everything I would want him to do, so maybe he is a legitimate candidate for me. What more could I want? I don't care if he's crazy on his own time, as long as he gets in and tears shit up that sounds like exactly what we need.

Reagan was an amateur. He went from acting, to CA governor, then to WH, yes? Not your typical slimy professional politician like 99% of Congress and The Senate.

He would receive about as much support as Ross Perot or Ron Paul, guaranteeing a D win.
He would be much better served in a Governorship in his homestate of Michigan. Clean up Detroit, balance the budget and do what he can for Michigan.

But as an "Amateur" Pollytickian, I don't see how he could do any worse than the Halfrican we currently have in the office.
We know that our troops would be respected and a sense of exceptionalism would return to the nation.

Reagan had a lot of political experience...he was governor for 8 years and worked on many campaigns prior to that. His 8 years as governor is more than Obama's year and half in the senate and his presidency. Reagan had plenty of chief executive experience...Obama was a community organizer.

I'm all for an innovative, outsider candidate, as long as he or she can appeal to the conservatives AND the centrists. A straight libertarian approach ain't gonna get the GOP diehards, and a true conservative is gonna miss the boat with the younger set with more libertarian (although conservative leaning) voters. The Dems have a huge advantage in that they can point to a record of free shit for all, but sooner rather than later that bill's gonna come due. They're just hoping to push it beyond the 2016 election cycle before their house of cards collapses under its own weight.

We don't need a professional politician, and we don't need a lawyer, and we don't need a billionaire. The only reason we're talking about Ted Nugent is because he's famous and has money. Is he in any way more qualified than me, or you, to be president? Actually, he is more qualified than me because he's old enough, and I'm not, but other than that. His opinions aren't any stronger or more valid than mine, or yours.

How about a normal person for every spot in Washington? No lawyers, no famous people, no billionaires (or multi-millionaires). I don't think it's as much about the money as it is the the media would take any normal person and make them look nuts. The media truly is the worst problem our country has.

He's got some money, and he's really smart, incredibly stubborn, but he doesn't have a family of his own so he's got a lot of free time. "Oh, what's my opinion on abortion? Tell me the imaginary bill that will be put in front of me, and whether or not it increases the size, scope, or spending of government, and I'll tell you how I'll vote. I'm not changing the way I make a decision on how I vote come hell or high water. We know where we want to go, and we're all going to have to make sacrifices to get there."

Furthermore, you pledge to only serve one term. You also pledge to have no security before, during, or after your term is up. You are completely available to your constituents. Give them your address in Washington, and tell them to stop by, knock on the door, and take you to dinner. You are a true servant of the people, and you prove it by showing that you are willing to give your life for this. You believe that you are lower than your constituents, not above them. If some drunk constituent wakes you up at midnight to go out for drinks, whatever. They're the boss about everything except how you vote.

You're probably thinking "yeah right, someone will kill you." So be it. I'd give my life for this belief in smaller government, for my children's sake. Wouldn't you? Survive your two years (or not), and you'll be a folk hero, and an example for how representatives are supposed to act.

He went into his second draft day after not changing clothes or showering for over a week and using his underwear as a part time toilet during that stint. He was banging some 14 year old from Hawaii and to keep police off him he somehow convinced her parents to make him her guardian so it wouldn't look odd she was always hanging out with him. One mention of his songs like Wang Dang Sweet Poontang and all his soundbites of sexist and vulgar lyrics and interviews would drive away just about everyone, but he'd probably get enough 2A votes to cost a conservative the election.

The sooner we all realize our System is a money making scheme of the first order and has ZERO interest in improving itself or the lot of the people the better off we all will be. Its been broke since at least 1913 and its not changing for the better anytime soon. There are probably fewer politicians in DC that genuinely care about the truth, decency, liberty, and freedom than I have fingers. Its a game and a racket, we all have a better chance at winning at every casino in Vegas than we do at fixing this mess our Great- Great Grandfathers left us with.

But the photo ops would be of a real man. Instead of shooting skeets we would see him shooting his full auto weapons scarying the pants off the libtards. Instead of riding a girl bike in mom pants with a helmet he would be on one of his ATV's culling one of his herds. The parties would have all the meat furnished by his hunts, no vegeterian meals. The first lady would be a hoot with her initiatives to gets kids involved in hunting, shooting etc.
