So, where does this empire of ours stretch to? What countries have we conquered, rebuilt, and not returned to the native inhabitants?
And no, a military base here and there abroad doesn't count. .

Eh, it works.
The kids with the laser pointer were hilarious. My cat does the same thing till she figures out I'm holding the thing that makes the light. (usually takes about 5 minutes, but she rarely remembers from the last time).
I liked it. I don't know much about the people in the video, although I would like a little story in there. Sometimes, a video doesn't need much explaining.
I see the soldiers just doing a job for someone else that can't do it for themselves. If we are a failing empire I would say its Obama's fault.
I would love to see a video of soldiers working to free the united states from the clutches of New York City and San Fransisco. I would like to see them invade California and break it up into 10 different states that way it could never have the hold over this country like it does now, ever again. The city states like Chicago and New York can see that its not the end of opinion in the state but just a cog in the machine.
No matter what I think about the war in Iraq (or have been told by the talking heads on TV) in the Afgan's don't want us in their country they should turn over all people responsible for 9/11 before we finish taring the place apart looking for them. I don't care if we end up taking over every inch of the country either. We could use the land to send all the hippies to. Ship them there and have their entitlements stripped away so they have to work to live.
This maybe all far fetched fantasy too. But one thing about America is I'm glad we have bases in other countries instead of other countries having bases here.

Hunter When did WWII end? Troops still there. When did the Korean War stop? still there. It seems Japan and Germany have troops there still (1945). So screw you, you koolaid drinking neo con fool.

My freedom hasn't been jeopardized by a foreign enemy for quit a while. The enemy lately is ignorant neo cons giving up civil liberties for a war on terror. Liberals have now picked up that torch from heroes like you and make the same pussy excuses for their puppet.
How many in Afghanistan did we train to include Osama, he had a CIA handler, we put Sadam in power, we put the Shaw in power which caused the radicals to over throw him. Read our Fore Fathers writings on foreign wars. If we stood up to the ass clowns in DC and demanded we get or oil here, we could set back and watch that region destroy itself. No American life's sacrificed for Bankers to get richer. War is not a noble venture any more, but a money maker.

If i was over there I would want to be in a fighter, not on the ground. doesn't look like fun.
Even during the vietnam war only a third was drafted. 2/3's of the people volunteered to fight against communist aggression.

When did the Korean War stop? still there.
The Korean War has never ended. Officially, the war is still ongoing but there is an extended cessation of hostilities due the the armistice signed @ Panmunjom in July of 1953. This is common knowledge to those of us who have served in the ROK.
Now, the video was interesting but the harsh music didn't exactly work for me.
