Where are FN SCAR in our market made? I saw on the case it says Made in Belgium, but I thought we can't import "assaulting" looking guns.

Mine has Fredericksberg, VA stamped on it.

FN= Fabrique Nationale- Belgium
Fredericksberg, VA is the importer stamp.

Depending how there configured their importable as sporting arms then once they get here they are then converted back to original spec with 922 parts.
Or they can be manufactured here in the U.S. under FN license much like Walther is made by various companies.

Wouldn't they just be made in Columbia SC along with all the other FN rifles?

They make the new Winchester lever guns at FNH in SC, where a bunch of our military arms are made.
