Well I finally took the plunge and sent my paper work in for my first NFA item. It's a form 1 for an SBR. I'm pretty excited but dreading the wait as many of you have felt before. I've been sitting on the paper work and check for the last month and finally kicked my self in the ass to drop it off. I've ran this thing as a pistol for the last few months and it runs great! Just a few things left to make it a little more lefty friendly and it's done. Anyways here is what I built:

-Surefire 6PX defender flashlight

I decided on the seekins lower because of the left hand bolt release. I have only ran the rifle once with the raptor charging handle and I love it. Still need to add a bad ass safety selector and a forward grip once approved.

With a 11.5" barrel, you might already have an OAL of 26" to allow you to add the VFG.

I literally sat on the money and check for a month before getting them sent in. No good reason for it either other than being lazy. That's a nice rifle brews!

I'll post my pic tonight we have identical pistols. It's also the first I've hear about the OAL >26" being ok to have a VFG. I guess I'll install mine tonight.

I am also sitting on two forms I am mailing this week for two cans. I wish if someone had one already in the queue it would get bumped. For shits and giggles I am including a cover letter asking if that's possible. I wonder the laughs that will get. Lol

Instead of a VFG use the AFG from mp. That is by ATF definitions not a Vertical grip. I did it to a few draco pistols.
