My Stag 2TL had issues firing the TulAmmo steel case rounds. They would fire fine but the case seems to expand. I fired about 30 rounds before one actually locked in chamber. I had to use a cleaning rod and force the case out of the chamber and noticed that my extractor actually took off a chunk of the cartridge rim. Upon further inspection of other spent rounds I noticed all the rims had marks from my extractor. Lesson learned dont use cheap Russian shit in a Stag!
I don't own a stag, but I've read that some rifles will "breakin" after 1k rounds of brass. Then it will shoot steel just fine.

I shot steel out of my recently built rifle on its first range trip. I noticed if I didn't allow the barrel to cool between rounds the third round casing would stick.

If you want to shoot steel, build a cheap upper with a $100 chrome lined barrel and abuse that.

I just shot about 240rnds Tula/Wolf mix this weekend thru my 2T and the only problem I had was 1 FTF. All ejected just fine and no jams.

TulAmmo 223 is among the very weakest and poorest performing of steel-cased rounds.

I broke in my 2TL with brass for several hundred rounds and then started using Wolf for my range trips. Never had issues.
