Anybody have any recommendations for any framing shops that do nice shadowboxing / memorabilia type work?

I'm looking to get some of my grandfather's WWII daggers and bayonets framed up so they're not just sitting in the back of the safe, and it seems like the kind of thing I wouldn't just drop in one of those cheap frame stores with.

It's a long haul for you but the Fast Frame shop on Harmony in Fort Collins can do it for you. My wife (a framer for thirty five years) works there. She did a shadowbox of my Dad's WW2 medals. Had it on display in the shop and several people who saw it had her do theirs. She has done shadow boxes of medals, handguns, memorabilia, flags, sports jerseys and pretty much anything else.

My dad had a shadowbox put together with some of my grandfather's memorabilia from WWI and I'm pretty sure it was in Parker. It was amazing. I'll ping him and see if he remembers the shop that did it for him.

C. L. Framing in Aurora (303-680-5043), but it may be closed now. I do see a C L Framing now on Arapahoe Rd., but I'm not sure if it's the same place.

Michaels does a good job on shadow boxes, they threw one together for a golf club that turned out nice
