My little dog Lucy had a small thing on her right arm that I looked at a few weeks ago, didn't seem to be an issue as I thought it was maybe a bite or she got poked by something running around at my dads.
Just got home from a trip and I find this:

I'm planning on taking her to the Vet tomorrow unless you guys have seen this before and know what it is. I'll be researching it tonight as well trying to figure out what is going on.
She is a 4 year old Lhasa Apso.

He skin is dark right there, quite a bit darker than normal. it is almost like a scab but the skin feels about twice as thick or so. nothing came out of it, no puss or anything like that.

thanks guys.

Probably a cyst. One of my beagles had something very similar. Vet took out a lump of goo. All better new. Started off small about the size of a pea, then grew to a golfball size in a matter of a month or 2. Skin showed the exact same discoloration and hardness as your pup.

Feel it and see if it's mobile, superficial in the skin or if it feels deep into the muscle?

seems to be just in the skin, nothing deep in the muscle.

colorider, sounds like thats what it is from what I have seen on my google search. Did the vet pop it or cut it and clean it out?

Our beagle/hound has numerous fatty cysts on his skin. After having the vet take a look at a couple of them, we all agreed that if they don't bother him, they don't bother us.

I hope the trip to the vet goes well. Cute pup!

I hope it's nothing serious, Sniper.

Our pup had the same kind of deal. It grew rapidly as well and we took her to the vet and had them remove the cyst. Just a fatty deposit that didn't seem to bother her but looked gross as hell

Tried to poke it tonight and nothing came out like a cyst. No puss or goo. The last picture showed a clump of hair that looked whitish. I messed with that a little bit and it was scabbed so I pulled that off and it exposed the muscle etc. No blood. Just like you would see pulling a scab off. Put on some ointment and will head to th vet tomorrow.
Doesn't bother her just got bigger that I expected. It was the size of a dime or so for a while now in a few days it got big.

Vet removed the cyst. His skin was scale like, whitish and dark in some spots. I stuck it with a steralized needle and nothing came out. Best to take the pup to the vet. Our beagle also has fatty blobs, but they are not round in shape and you can tell it is just a fatty thing. No skin discoloration or scale looking stuff.

His started exactly like yours. Then a hard bump started to form under the skin. That started out the size of a pea, then grew to a golf ball pretty quick. . Looked gnarly. We called him Quasimoto. It was on the back of his neck and would flop around as he walked. Had to get it removed because my wife was getting grosed out by the "hitchhiker."

Kind of looks like a spider bite.

Good disinfection of the area, cut it with a STERILIZED surgical blade. Allow to drain , while doing what you can to keep the area clean. We/ve done it before, the same thing the vet does, only cheaper.

My dog had an abscess in his front leg. It got bigger and bigger in a few days. He had been limping, and for a pit bull to be limping (him especially), it told me this was pretty significant. We cut & drained it (holy crap, blood everywhere), dressed it & took him to the vet. They cleaned it again, wrapped it with some better stuff and gave him some antibiotics just in case. We saved a couple hundred bucks doing what we did at home. Whole trip ended up costing about $80.

Anybody think it might be ringworm? That's what my dad thought of when he saw it yesterday
