Does anyone know if they make a conversion for the .45 Glocks to shoot .40 or 10mm? I know they can shoot 9mm from the .40 versions like the 23.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can go from .45 to 10mm auto, since the 10mm case is actually longer than the .45 case, I don't think that the mags will actually fit. Someone may have to tell you about .40

Storm Lake .45 ACP to 10mm Stainless Steel Conversion Barrel for use with the GLOCK 30.
Machined from certified 416R stainless steel for superior strength, durability, and accuracy.
Barrels are match grade, hardened to 40-42 HRC and cut broach rifled to shoot jacketed or lead bullets.
All barrels are chambered for full case support. All Glock barrels are drop in and will only occasionally require modification to fit. Extended lengths are available, as well as ported and threaded options.

KKM also make conversion barrels.
The ideal carry gun for me would be a Glock 36 modified to shoot 9mm with a 10-12 round mag.

I am about to get a g23, and want to get the conversion barrelS to get it to shoot both 9mm and .357 sig (not at the same time obviously). MOLON LABE, I think we actually just talked about that stuff. I'm just trying to decide which to do first.
Theres little the .357sig has to offer when it comes to self defense, training, practice, price, or capacity when compared to 9x19mm. And .40 S&W is the 10mm sissy. I have a 23 because I wanted the ability to have a firearm that can shoot either round (9/.40) for SHTF. That said I stock up on carry and train with 9mm. Obviously the above is only my and Millions of other folks humble opinion and should only be taken as such :)

It's decided 9mm it is! Then in the case of ammo shortages! I can buy either 9 or .40!
If memory serves Im pretty sure there are a couple of G23's up for sale/trade in the trading post section. If you want to shoot one before you buy let me know.

Thanks for the advice. I've felt the glock 23 and 19 before. I love their size. And the first handgun I shot was a glock 22. Depending on the situation, I might take you up on that offer. This will be my first glock though.
