Congratulations Hbar. The guy that helped me build my first AK lived in that area.
Nice! You'll be only minutes away from the springer unit. Love that ridge running east and west just north of lusk. Used to be TONS of deer up there. Fantastic habitat. I'm driving through there on friday on my way to hunt elk north of newcastle...

We normally use my step dads 14' Lund up there. Lots of catfish and walleye. There is bass and crappy also I believe. We did our annual family camping trip there the last two years, my mom passed away yesterday so I will be taking the kids there every year now.

Congratulations! Looks like a nice place to do a lot of canning. Mind if I ask, are you relocating due to changing political climate?
We bought the house at auction. We checked it out a couple weeks ago but it was still at a brokerage. We were going to make an offer, but the realtor said they probably wouldnt take the offer because it was going to the auction that next day. It finally went active and we won.
this isnt about legislation or current events. We have owned land in Wyoming before. We just never were financially able to move there full time. I have planned to move there since the mid 90's.
We bought our last house as a foreclosure to fix up and sell. We did that, but in the mean time another foreclosure across the street came available. we bought that and we are going to sell it this spring, hopefully. But, we cant move all of us to a camper trailer while we look for a property for sale. Buying ranch properties in Wyoming is much different than buying homes or even homes and acreage here. There is just very, very little available under 1-2 million dollars. So, we will have to live in the new house until we a property comes available. Which will hopefully be quick since the house is small and our family is not.
