View Full Version : Denver Tanner this weekend - Nov. 2 & 3
Anyone planning on going? Thinking it may be a better show since the Broncos are having a Bye Week.
Will be there Sat for sure. I think there's a plan for all us old farts to flashmob Stoner.
I asume you're working at Randy's table again?
Yeah, I'll be helping Randy. I'll do my usual & stop into the little breakfast burrito place on the NW corner of Broadway & County Line. They have the $2.50 burritos, but also do the huge one for $3.50. Hard to beat & better than the food prices at the show. Where's Stoner located?
Looks like I'll be going one day. The wife wants me to pick up some more wax for our Scentsy warmers.
I'll be going, at least for a quick walk-through Saturday morning. I'd like to make your acquaintance. How will I know who you are?
I'll be looking for a few spare parts, ammo, and silver bullion. I might pick up another gunvault for the wife's new car, if I see them there again too.

Almost everywhere in denver.

That's really..... really sad..... not that you're doing that for the wife. But that you can buy that stuff at a gun show.

Going Sunday. Looking for AK stuff and planning on selling/trading my 1911

Look for Michael Kole holsters and Ammo-Kan. R&S and Brutal are in that area. Right behind the holsters.

I'll be heading there on Sunday for a gun trade, this will actually be my first gun show. I'll also be looking for a holster and ammo. Any tips on stands to visit?

They have a few leather holster vendors and a few with cloth holsters. I like Mike Kole's holsters. $60-80 for most. Ammo-Kan is where I prefer to get my ammo. Have both new & reman. They kept prices reasonable during the panic, so I tend to stick with them. OD Green went way overboard during the panic. They will never see another dime of my money, but to each his own. Ten-X also has decent prices, but it's all reman.

Get your magazine rebuild kits at Tanner. Never thought I'd see CO-AR be more strict than that show.

Are you going to be selling them at the show at a table or just making a general comment that they will be available there?

What do you mean? I get the rebuild kits and that makes perfect sense, but how are they strict? Like strict on the rebuild kits? or strict about people with their 15+ round mags?
sroz, thank you for the update on vendors to visit/avoid. I'll check out Ammo-Kan. I'll avoid people who tend to exploit gun owners during panics *cough Cheaperthandirt cough*

Just making a comment that they are available for purchase there. I would never suggest that I am selling them, and risk the wrath of the moderators!

I'll be there tomorrow AM
I'll be at my usual tables with some ammo at a fair price. A lot of good guns too! Sig Sauer 938 SAS and other Sigs
I haven't been in a long time. Is there any archery stuff there or is it just firearm related? I'm looking for a compound bow.
I don't think you'll find anything archery related that you can't find for less at the bottom shelf of most sporting goods stores.

Hey! $20 hand crossbow pistols there! Too crappy even for a sporting goods store...
No lines...that's for sure. If anyone is interested, Randy has a couple new Beretta 92 Compacts. Stainless with the rail. His cash price is $708 before tax and background. Lot better than the $799 Gander price tag. I've got one & love it.
Sitting in my truck in the parking lot now. If you have my number and want to say hello shoot me a text.

Went to the show. I've never been to one before, but I was impressed. Some great things to be had there! Prices were hit or miss, but great time!
Went today. Sold my 1911, bought a P228 exactly like what I wanted from Bear Arms. Traded some ammo with Randy from R&S. Chatted with the folks a bit at APEX. All around a great day!
Great to see Ridge today. He picked up a nice Sig. There was a fairly steady crowd today. It reminded me of a normal pre-panic Sunday. Now if we could just get back to the pre-panic Saturdays things would seem somewhat normal again. Things will normalize. Just hope it's soon.

I saw about what I expected to see, but I was disappointed that I couldn't find any of the pistol powders suitable for what I do.
I was glad, though, to meet a holster maker (Liion Defense) from Overland Park, where I went to high school, and a stone's throw from Hodgdon.
