My guess is that he used a multicopter drone and piano wire to carry and maneuver the "body". I thought I saw a flash of wire around 0:38.

I'm guessing it is one of those quadrotor helicopters. an RC plane with those aerodynamics could fly, but not that precisely, slowly, or quietly (I'm assuming it was quiet because of the way it snuck up on people). Pretty awesome.

I'm wrong. In the comments, he says a small jetpack. I was thinking anything like a pusher prop would create more turbulence in the cloth shreds behind it but I guess not. That jet pack must have an awfully good gyro or he has practiced a LOT because he was doing some seriously nice maneuvering with it.

For real though. During the day, I'd think it was awesome. If I was running on a the green belt in the dark and couldn't really see well...that'd be a different story.
