Sporting Dog First Aid Class

Hey guys, I want to pass along some info. The Sporting Dog Club of Colorado is hosting a free first aid clinic for your four-legged friends. They gave me permission to post the invitation here.


Deer Creek Animal Hospital vets will be on hand at Bass Pro Shops in the Frying Pan Lodge on Wednesday, November 13th. The program starts at 6 pm and will last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a great opportunity for you to learn what to do in a canine emergency in the field. The clinic is FREE.
However, reservations are required. You can register either by email or phone call. See info below.

 Proper conditioning
 Dealing with cuts and lacerations
 Removal of porcupine quills
 Treatment for skunk exposure
 Mouth, eye and ear injuries
 Bone and joint injuries
 Venomous snake bites
 Hypothermia and hyperthermia
 Hypoglycemia and more


This is a very popular class as hands-on-training is part of the program.
There is no charge for the class. Pre-registration is required.
