Have some ?'s about ordering a gun

Ive been shopping around a bit online for a pistol. How does it all work when ordering one? Do I just send them the money and the FFL's info? Or does the FFL contact them? I would just like to know what to expect just I do end up ordering from an auction or something.

Many local FFL's have already sent their info to the major 'selling' companies: AIM, Bushmaster, RRA, (insert name here) etc...

Just call and see if your FFL is on file where you want to buy the pistol from, if it's not, have them send it off and your good-to-go.
